Assembly Line Cardmaking with Pattern Basics

Happy Wednesday!

I never seem to get enough "play" time with my stash. Do you feel the same way? There are just never enough hours in the day, am I right? However, one of my "jobs" when we go to conventions is to demonstrate with the Club Scrap product line. Wha? Get paid to "play"? Count me in!

With the St. Charles Scrapbook Expo starting Friday, I thought I'd share a couple of cards created during my designated demo (aka: playtime) at the Minnesota Scrapbook Expo a month ago.

I'm lovin' the new Pattern Basics paper, so I grabbed the "Brights" Pattern Basics paper pack, along with my trusty Assembly Line Cardmaking Idea Deck (Volume 2), and got to work.

ALCM Idea Deck Vol.2--2 of Hearts

These first 2 cards were created using the 2 of Hearts formula. (All of the cutting instructions are on the back of the card.)

The Pattern Basics have a white core, so I was able to flip to the plain white side to stamp greetings and images from the WOW Spring Unmounted stamp sheet. Cool, eh?

ALCM Idea Deck Vol.2--7 of Hearts

And these 2 cards were created using the 7 of Hearts formula.

I just love the "matchbook" style of these cards with the staple on the flap . . . so unique!

Both of these ALCM formulas created four greeting cards each, so I ended up with a grand total of eight greeting cards . . . all trimmed, assembled, stamped and ready to send in the span of about 20 minutes. I may not have hours of "play" time available to me, but all of us should be able to squeeze in 20-30 minutes here and there, dontcha think?

Wishing you the gift of creative "play" time,

Karen
